Avoid These Brow Rituals If You Want Natural Looking Fluffy Brows!

Keeping your arches in their most beautiful
bushy glory is a task that is not easily achieved. It is after all, the latest brow craze, natural and fluffy, real Parisian beauty. With the latest trends changing faster than our eyebrows can keep up, it’s no wonder we all want to find the secret to tip-top brows!

Here are a few things I personally like to avoid when it comes to eyebrow maintenance and I think you should too!

1. Waxing- Waxing is not very precise, it’s also one of the most common culprits for
asymmetrical eyebrows, irritation, and
premature aging. It can also age you because it can break down the collagen and elasticity in your skin.

What to do instead- I would recommend you opt for tweezing and trimming to shape your brows and to clean up any stray hairs. You have way more control and getting carried away is less likely!

2. Brow Lamination Chemicals- Harsh chemicals on your precious brow hairs just makes me cringe.  Because you want them as thick and full as possible, brow lamination tends to make the brow hairs loose dimension, looking flat, less fluffy, and really shiny. If your wanting a natural look this does the complete opposite! The chemicals will also damage your hair strands that you are trying to keep hearty and healthy.

What to do instead- You can fake the lamination look by using clear brow gel or soap on a spoolie. Sweep up your brows with two coats of clear brow gel, then when the brow is still a little bit wet, take your tweezers and pinch the little hairs together making clusters, which gives you that laminated look!

3. Tweezing- Don’t go over board! Less is more ladies, I promise.

What to do instead- When done correctly, plucking removes the entire hair from the follicle, keeping it from growing back for up to 6 weeks! Tweezing your eyebrow area will give you total control over the shape you want too. Make sure to always pull the hair out at an angle, going with the hair’s grain, rather than against. This will help avoid breaking the hair and reduce the chance of ingrown hairs!

I hope these tips were helpful and if you are considering getting Nano Brows by Mood Revival PMU or have any further questions don’t hesitate to get in touch with me! I’m always happy to do zoom or phone consultations too, just ask for Michelle Eileen.
