Got NANO Questions?

Why Nano?

Nano allows for much more creative freedom and is an inclusive style of cosmetic tattooing. Nano does not carry the same artistic and technical limitation that microblading does. Nano can give people with oily skin types hairstroke style brows, something you typically cannot do with microblading. Nano means I can give a broader range of client hairstroke style brows that look natural and never go out of style!

What’s the difference between Microblading & Nano?

Nano is a form of Micropigmentation done by a machine and a very fine single needle, to draw each hairstroke by means of connective dots that form each hairstroke. Bleeding is minimal and the healing time is typically shorter than Microblading. Microblading is done with a handtool made up of micro pins that cut the skin, pigment is then implanted into the little cuts to create hairstrokes.

Does Nano Hurt?

This form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing should not hurt, however everyone has a different pain threshold. I do apply anesthetic and wait until the area is numb before proceeding. That said you will experience pressure and scratching with some uncomfortable sensation.

What if I’m not happy with the design after the first session?

That is why we recommend the 6 week follow up appointment! Your initial session is to layout a template for your brows. The touch up appointment is the perfecting stage, where we can best evaluate how to achieve your desired results. Go bigger, bolder, adjust shape and color, whatever is needed to give you brows you feel good about!

Why did my previous brow job turn grey/blue?

This happens because your skin undertones are more on the ashy side and the pigment used was not warm enough. Your PMU Artist should be using warm rich red tone pigments to counter your ashy undertones! Can this be fixed? Absolutely!

Why did my previous brow job turn red/orange?

This happens when your PMU Artist uses a pigment that is too warm for your already warm skin undertones. They need to choose a pigment that will offset your warm undertones, think ashy to neutralize the color! Can this be fixed? Absolutely!
